Cybersecurity awareness training should fit seamlessly into your daily workflow, not feel like just another task on your to-do list. That’s why we’ve made it even easier to keep security top of mind by offering the option to receive training directly in the communication and collaboration apps you already use daily.
Set Your Preferences in Just a Few Clicks
You can now easily update your preferences to receive training scenarios directly in your Teams or Slack app, right alongside your daily conversations. By default, Pistachio sends training scenarios to your Outlook inbox. But once permissions are granted, responding to a scenario will take you to a page where you can choose your preferred app. After you make your selection, future scenarios will automatically be delivered there. Switching between apps won’t affect your training history. Your progress stays with you, no matter which platform you use.
For Admins
Granting permissions for your organization is just as straightforward. If you'd like your team to have the choice to receive their training scenarios in their Teams or Slack chat inbox, simply go to the settings page in the Pistachio platform. Click on "Grant permissions" under the preferred apps section, and a pop-up guide will walk you through the process. After permissions are granted, you will receive a confirmation message in the platform, and your users will be able to choose the app that works best for them. Ensure that your users have the same email address linked to both their Microsoft Teams and Slack accounts to maintain seamless functionality.
By meeting your team where they already collaborate and communicate, we prioritize cybersecurity without adding extra friction.
